Operating Days at The Plains Heritage Park

Discover the rich history and captivating collections at The Plains Heritage Park. On these special days, many of the park’s individual societies open their doors, inviting you, your friends, and family to explore their exhibits.

You’ll have the chance to see historical artifacts up close, experience restored machinery in action—sometimes with the option to ride—and connect with dedicated volunteers eager to share their knowledge of heritage skills.

Since each display is independently managed by individual societies and their volunteers, availability may vary. If there’s a specific exhibit you’re eager to see, we recommend contacting the relevant society beforehand.
